Astro is proud to introduce the VA-1809 emulator which inspects and measures each function of the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) standard signal. The following inspection functions are available: 1. Display of the input image; 2. Display of the input video timing; 3. Display of the input info frame; 4. Display of the Channel Status Bit; 5. Display of the Audio Data; 6. Display of the constant of HDCP. Moreover, this unit was designed with the consideration of many uses such as an HDMI repeater function, a receiver function and a remote control. VA-1809 also provides great mobility and efficiency in the dawn of this new HDMI technology.

  • By connecting an external monitor, an incoming HDMI signal can be converted into an analog signal, which can then be outputted to an analog VGA monitor.
  • It is possible to divide an HDMI signal into a video signal and an audio signal.
  • It is possible to change the contents of the EDID.
  • Optional Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) function available.
